Technique 3

Are your images just way too boring in the color department? Using the "gradient map" adjustment will give them a cool look in just a few steps. Here we go.

From your top toolbar, select: "Image > Adjustments > Gradient Map."





This will open up a window with a whole bunch of different gradient color options. Just pick which one you like best and change the gradient options to "reverse" if it's not looking quite right:



Congrats! Once you've played around with the settings a little you should now have a funky image with a lot more color than before:
