"American Boy" - Estelle
If you've never heard this song, I'm sorry to say you've been living under a rock. It's rapidly gaining popularity with it's funky yet modern sound. Kanye West collaborates here, really kicking the song into high gear.
"In The Ayer" - Flo Rida
Another single that's getting pretty big pretty quickly. It's quickly become THE radio jam for parties everywhere. "Oh hot damn, this is my jam, keep me partyin' til the AM." With lyrics like that, who can't resist a good party?
"Seventeen" - Ladytron
Electronica at its best. Ladytron makes really edgy music but this is one of their standout hits. "Seventeen" is all about models, how they're used for a little then tossed aside. If you've ever felt that way, (or have ever been a model....) check it out.
"Girls & Boys" - Good Charlotte
By no means a new song, but I found this randomly on my computer yesterday and fell in love with it again. There's something about it that's very..."summer." It's upbeat and has a pretty funny message behind it, even pop-lovers should like this.
"The Quest" - Bryn Christopher
Featured in the season finale of "Grey's Anatomy," Bryn Christopher's "The Quest" will probably remind you of artists like Amy Winehouse and Duffy. It packs quite the punch too, the song is moving and emotion-filled.
"Better That We Break" - Maroon 5
While I agree, "If I Never See Your Face Again" is a great song, I'm starting to like this one more. "Better That We Break" is a great song that's a lot more relaxed than what we've seen off Maroon 5's sophomore album so far. I'm really loving it's groove, don't miss this one.
