The Fratellis

The Fratellis, made up of Jon, Mince, and Barry Fratelli comes to us all the way from the U.K. The trio formed in 2005 and made their debut performance of March that same year. Their first single, "Creepin' Up the Backstairs" quickly climbed became popular, while their second single, "Henrietta" became even more popular. It would soon become their first Top 20 song. Their "Flathead - EP" is the only cd available here but I'm sure we're all anticipating a full-length album. Be sure to check out Apple's iPod Ads, where their single, "Flathead" is featured.

Recommendations:
"Henrietta" - A great rock song that's remiscient of "The Kooks." It has tons of energy and really makes you just want to get out of your seat and dance around. That crazy kind of "rock out" dance you only do you with your friends when you think no one's looking.

"Cigarello" - My personal favorite song from this band. It's got just as much energy (if not more) than "Henrietta" and it really captures the sound of The Fratellis. The chorus is the same as the into to the song, but it just has even more rock in it.

"Flathead" - Of course, the song from the iPod ad! It almost has this vibe of country, but then it throws in that infectious rock and you forget all about that part. This is really a song you should have in your music collection. I guarantee you it doesn't sound like any other of your songs.
