The Bird and the Bee

The Bird And The Bee have never produced a hit album, or a hit single for that matter. They've never gone on a major headlining tour and they don't have any A-list friends so, at first glance, it might be hard to see what makes this band so appealing. It might be the vocalist Inara George (the bird)'s smooth vocals or it might be the charismatic instrumentation of Greg Kurstin (the bee). Or it might be the fact that The Bird And The Bee are unlike anything you've ever heard before. They consider their music to be influenced by jazz, other people would call them techno, yet they're labeled as indie/pop. Really, the only way to truly figure out the mystique behind The Bird And The Bee would be, well, to listen to them.

Recommendations:
"Again & Again" – In my opinion, the perfect blend of indie and pop. It's mellow, yet catchy and erm… there's something else there too but since I'm ridiculously bad with words, you'll have to figure it out on your own.

"Fucking Boyfriend" – Really only one word can be used to sum up this song… "lawlllzz." Enough said.

"I Hate Camera" - My favorite song off the album, no idea why, like all the other songs on the CD there's just something extremely appealing about this song.
