The Beatles to this day are one of the most famous and popular rock 'n roll groups in the world. The Beatles include George Harrison (1943-2001), John Lennon(1940-1980), Paul McCartney, and Richard Starkey(Ringo Starr). All of the Beatles where born and raised in Liverpool, England. John Lennon was considered the leader of the band. George Harrison was the lead guitarist. John Lennon was a song writer, one of the two lead singers, and rhythm guitarist. Paul McCartney was a song writer, one of the two lead singers, and a bassist. Ringo Starr played the drums.

Recommendations:
"Help" - When I was younger, so much younger than today... A great song about growing up. As a teen in High School, many feel as if they are all grown up and know all the answers, and often they realize just how wrong they are. this song conveys that feeling with a good beat that you can dance to.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" - I love this song. I think it is a little different than the usual beatles sound, in a good, interesting way. Clapton is pretty great with this one. Although I do like the Love cd version better...

"Let It Be" - When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother MAry comes to me... The opening lines are a tribute to Paul's mother, who was always available to him when he needed her. A song that can bring hope even when it seems there is no home.

"Lady Madonna" - I think this is clever, catchy song. It makes you almost want to get up and dance.

"With a Little Help From My Friends" - Do you need anybody... A great song about friendship, something that was growing a little thin among the Beatles by the time this song was produced. Ringo does a good job singing this song.
