Disco Pop Indie Sensual Grunge Glam. How do you describe the sound of Goldfrapp? Even with the difficulty to classify Goldfrapp, this duo creates a whole new sound that gives rise to such groups as Shiny Toy Guns. WIth Alison Goldfrapp on vocals/synths and Will Gregory focusing on just synths, this combo creates unforgettable electronic songs that just beg to be put in advertisements. So much so, that you've probably heard their music on LG's "Chocolate" advertisements, FX's promo for their hit show, "Nip/Tuck," and Target's oober creative tv ads.

Recommendations:
"Ooh La La" - Electonic music at it's best. "Ooh La La" hits you with a great beat and Alison's smooth vocals. The synths in this song are superb and will leave you wanting more.

"Strict Machine" - "I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love" with this song! This song is serisouly psychedelic. Yes, it's so psychedelic that I even used a little bit of alliteration. (Which sounds corny in review by the way.) But either way, this song showcases Goldfrapp's unique sound perfectly. You've got to get this one.

"Number 1" - This song moves along smoothly and almost sensually. It's the perfect song to listen to when you're just cruising in your car on a sunny day. I know the scenario I just made up may seem weird, but once you hear the song you'll see what I mean.
