Drop Dead, Gorgeous

Drop Dead, Gorgeous is a six-piece band from Denver. After being signed to Rise Records, they made their debut release, Be Mine, Valentine - EP. "Love Is Murder," one of the songs off of their EP, quickly became a hit on MySpace along their fans. Soon after, their full-length debut, In Vouge, was released. Touring was rough on the band at the time. They only had 3 months to tour due to the simple fact that the members hadn't graduated high school yet. But just because they are young doesn't mean they should be under estimated. The band's fanbase grew rapidly among MySpacers. Later, they filmed a video for their song "Dressed for Friend Reqiests" at a hometown Denver show. This was their last show before heading to the studio to record their second release. The new record is titled Worse Than a Fairy Tale, which is set to be released August 14th of this year. Drop Dead, Gorgeous will be joining many other bands in this year's Van's Warped Tour starting on the July 25th show at Washington, DC.
Recommendations:
"Love Is Murder" - This song is actually the reason I started liking the band in the first place. This song is fairly short with fast pased guitar tempos. A great song by the band.
"Dressed for Friend Requests" - Without a doubt, the band's most popular song, and for a good reason. Give this song a listen and hear for youself.
"Fashion Your Seatbelt" - This is one of my favorites by Drop Dead, Gorgeous. Though it's hard to use the word 'catchy' with a band like this, I would say this song is just that.
"Daniel, Where's the Boat" - Another one of my favorites off of In Vouge. This song may be darker compared to some of their other tracks, but that doesn't make it lass appealing at all.
