Cute Is What We Aim For

By: Trudy

The band was started in January of 2005; and the name was created when two of the bands members were talking over the phone and they wanted to "aim for a cute name". This band uses puns and metaphors in a poetic way in their lyrics. After they fired their previous manager, their CD (Same Old Blood Rush With A New Touch) made it to #75 on Billboard 200 and sold over 4 million copies. (I own one of those 4 million :]

Recommendations:
Risque - Verrrrry catchy, and i can definitely relate to some of the lyrics. It may sound a little weird at first, but once you listen to it again you can really start to understand the point their trying to make.

There's A Class For This - Definitely one of their most popular songs. The chorus is actually dedicated to the drama that has been circulating about them. This song is my ringtone too :] Oh and be sure to listen to this one really loud!

Newport Living - MY FAVORITE SONG by this band. This song was the first I heard from them, and after that, I was hooked. The lyrics and melody just blend. And, I love how the band has the guts to say what they do.
