A Fine Frenzy

A Fine Frenzy is the music of Alison Sudol. A 21 year-old singer from Seattle. During her young years, Alison let herself be influenced by writers such as CS Lewis, Lewis Carroll and Charles Dickens. She started becoming a powerful author of her own. Not only that, but she was also influenced by classical music and movies from the 1950s. After she taught herself to play piano, she begun creating a sound of her own.
Alison's lyrics are all like personal stories in song form. She was influenced her whole life by different forms of art, and she enjoys exrpessing herself though her music. While she began making music, she found inspiration by many British bands including Aqualung, Coldplay and Keane. All this let up to Alison's hypnodic melodies and uplifting lyrics - A Fine Frenzy. She now has her "Demo - EP" available on iTunes and her debut album is expected to be released this summer.
Recommendations:
"Rangers" - One of her more upbeat melodies. If you get into the song, it helps you forget about everything around you and, like all of Alison's melidies, helps you escape into another world. This is probably my favorite song of her's.
"Almost Lover" - Like most of her songs, this is a downbeat song, but with a strong melody. Along with smooth vocals, this is a great song.
"Hope For the Hopeless" - This is a very quiet song, but it proves it doesn't take much to create an amazing song.
