Simple Plan - Simple Plan

By: Nadia T.

For Fans Of: Boys Like Girls, Blink 182 and Green Day.

They've been around for quite some time. With seven million albums sold world wide and now with the release of their third album, Canada’s own Simple Plan is back better than ever with new original songs and the new album to prove it. The album “Simple Plan” is a totally another level for these guys. They’ve been working for months to make their third album something special.

They’ve evolved their music into a new style. Simple Plan's first album “No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls...” is a completely different sound compared to this album and even the second album “Still Not Getting Any...” but yet they still were able to keep the Simple Plan sound while making an outstanding record. They have definitely evolved in a great way. I’m absolutely positive this is their best album yet.

Recommendations:
“The End”: Absolutely 100% my favorite song by them. It's so different, but in the best way possible. The have a Techno/R&B vibe while the chorus is a rock and roll slap in the face. This song even has a few strings that make it that much better.

“I Can Wait Forever”: An amazing ballad by Simple Plan. The lyrics are mind-blowing. It has a killer guitar solo left the song left me speechless. Definitely a powerful love song by them and one of the best songs on the album.

“Your Love Is A Lie”: The announced second single. A song that people just seem to “Love“. It’s such a new sound that makes it great. It has an amazingly catchy chorus and meaningful verses. One of my favorites.
