Relient K - Apathetic EP

By: Tori Grace

Relient K is an amazingly talented band. This is my favorite CD from theirs. Relient K also happens to be my favorite band. They have feel good, funny, and yet deep lyrics. With 7 and soon to be 8 albums out, they have over 150 songs. With songs for every situation and lifestyle you should look into them. This album is an EP but still contains some of my favorite songs.

Their songs make you stop and think about life and how true they are. My personal favorite song is "In Like A Lion (Always Winter)" because I live in New York and snow gets really annoying when you can't go outside. This song talks about how at first snow at the beginning of winter is awesome but then how it just gets you upset when you can't go outside. I think I like this one the best because it has less songs so they put more work into the individual songs.

I would recommend the following three songs. First off is "In Like A Lion (Always Winter)" especially those who live in places where it snows. "Over Thinking[Acoustic]" because it is a beautiful love song that makes you want to cry and especially in the acoustic version which makes it slower. And lastly "Apathetic Way to Be" because it states that half of them is all about apathy and that the other half doesn't care. I feel like this way too much and I know a lot of people can relate.
