Paramore - RIOT!

By: S6 Journalist - Sebastian.
Riot: An ouburst of uncontrolled emotion. That alone sums up Paramore's new release, RIOT! This is all but a sophmore slump since RIOT! is considered one of this year's most anticipated albums. And with good reason, too. Personally, I loved this album. It's incredible. The first single, "Misery Business," was an instant hit when it was released, although Hayley described it as "the most shameful song on this album." In the new album, you hear the same old Paramore with a new twist. Their new album includes energetic, up-beat songs like "Misery Business" and "Fences," along with more mellow songs like "When It Rains" and "We Are Broken." To cut this review short, overall this is quite an impressive album and is highly recommended.
It's hard to believe that the band is still so young, yet has become so successful. Jeremy Davis, being the oldest member, is only 22. The band is going to be in the line-up for this year's Van's Warped Tour and, at this rate, has no intention to stop now.
Recommendations:
"Misery Business" - Not only is this song catchy, but it packs a powerful message. It's no suprise that Paramore picked this song as their first single.
"crushcrushcrush" - Hands down, one of my favorite tracks off the album. Lyrically and musically masterful. This song has an amazing pre-chorus and chorus. Overall, a powerful track in itself.
"Fences" - This song is fast-paced and catchy. A fun song to listen to.
