Fall Out Boy - Infinity On High

By: Sarah

Fall Out Boy is a band from Chicago, Illinois that includes Patrick Stump who sings and plays guitar, Joe Trohman who also plays guitar, bassist Pete Wentz and Andy Hurley on drums. Their fourth album "Infinity On High" came out in Februrary, 2007. Since then they have been on countless magazine covers. I personally like them because of their catchy lyrics and Patrick Stump's amazing voice.

I think this album is very good and unique in it's own way. They are the only band that I know of today that has released an album completely different than the previous one and been a huge success ever since. In this album the songs are more soulful and slower than songs from "From Under The Cork Tree". Also, the album features a collaboration with Jay-Z. Since they sound different than other bands today, it's a good change of pace when listening to it.

Recommendations:
"Golden" - The lyrics are in this song are truly amazing and it's a good song to listen to if you want to really hear how well Patrick sings.

"Hum Hallelujah" - This is an amazing song because it has a good beat and the lyrics are catchy and easy to relate to.

"The Take Over, The Breaks Over" - The beat of this song is also more upbeat than others on the album. It has amazing vocals by Patrick in this song because you can really tell how much range his voice has.
